An initiative from the school which is patronised by a company that is known for innovation and creating leaders, we wanted to create leaders from a very young age who in the future the nation would be proud of, hence after many deliberations and brainstorming’s we came up with the concept of a student member council.

As the very name suggests, the council is OF THE STUDENTS, FOR THE STUDENTS and BY THE STUDENTS where they are empowered to handle events, coordinate for social causes, assist in emergency/disaster managements & help the student and community to develop.

The SMC works like a Government, with ministries across various avenues, the SMC has a parliament meeting every month (similar to actual parliament), where various concerns, agenda’s that are held, points to improve are presented and deliberated upon. Each SMC is mentored by a teacher across each ministry, the following are the ministries that were identified with designations. Below are a few ministries that were identified, in fact the role and responsibilities for each were also fixed and communicated.
